Charlotte, I am so proud of you! But don’t be surprised if the energy or interest wanes. I still have probably 100 pounds of papers to burn or shred from cleaning out Dad George’s place. One would think the bonfire would have been the most fun part…yet they are still in boxes taking up a shed at our old home.

Hi Char, I’ve been following your witty writings & just wanted to let you know that I’ve printed this one (& another one) for my Mom. (She has no internet) She (we) lost my step dad 3 yrs ago tomorrow & she still has a very hard time with realizing he really is gone. Especially during the holdiays…I go over there at least once a week to help her with groceries, (she doesn’t drive) bill paying & sorting like you’re doing. She is giving some things to us kids; mostly to my son, Jason, as he & Grandpa were really close! I just wanted to let you know that you are helping me help her deal with all that comes with his death…Thank you & God Bless You~

And please don’t get too carried away and toss anything from your vast yarn collection. Jess said you’d teach me to knit and I’m ready when you are. And dinner before or after sounds like a grand plan to me! But you should probably know that while I can sew very well, a knitter I’m not – and I’m left-handed just to add to the fun. But Jess promised you’re a great teacher!!
